Getting tickets to our events
You can buy tickets for events at the Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy and Theatre Academy. Tickets may be pre-booked or purchased at the door. Some of the events have free admission.
Academy of Fine Arts exhibitions
The Academy of Fine Arts galleries have free admission.
Sibelius Academy concerts
You can buy tickets for the Sibelius Academy concerts on the Uniarts Helsinki and the Helsinki Music Centre website, at the Helsinki Music Centre box office and at the door. Some concerts have free admission. The event calendar shows the price of each concert on the event page.
For the time being, tickets purchased at the door can only be paid with the most common payment cards.
Tickets for concerts taking place in the Seinäjoki unit are sold by NetTicket

Opening hours of ticket sales
Tickets before hand are sold through Biletti. You can buy tickets online until 1 hour prior to the first performance of the day. After which, tickets can only be purchased on site at the ticket sales stand.
The Theatre Academy’s ticket sales is available on-site during performance days. Exact opening hours for each season are updated on this page.

- Standard ticket €15
- Discount ticket €7 / Students, pensioners, unemployed
- Performing arts professional ticket €4 / Performing arts professionals)
- Wheelchair space and assistant ticket
- If you wish to reserve a wheelchair space, an assistant seat, or ensure accessible entry, please contact us through email: teak.lipunmyynti@uniarts.fi
- A personal assistant’s ticket is free of charge.
When claiming your tickets, be prepared to present a certificate entitling you to your discounted ticket.
Payment methods
- We only accept card payments, no cash.
- Most common debit cards are accepted.
- Kaikukortti is also accepted.
- Tickets with Kaikukortti are purchased through the regular booking process.
- You can get max. 2 tickets.
- Kaikukortti is not valid for co-productions, only for Theatre Academy’s own performances
Redeeming tickets
- All attendees must check in at the ticket sales before the performance.
- Unclaimed seats will be released for sale, so please check in at least 15 minutes before the event starts.
- All attendees must check in at the ticket sales stand to receive a sticker. You will need the sticker to enter the performance space.
- Need to cancel? Our performance spaces are small and demand is high. Please release your seat for someone else if you cannot attend.

Queueing for tickets
Electronic queueing:
- Electronic ticket queueing takes place via the Biletti system’s “Resell” function. Joining the queue requires registration in the system. Each ticket type has its own queue. Anyone who has joined a queue will receive a notification from Biletti when tickets of that type become available.
On-site queueing:
- On-site at the Theatre Academy, you can join the queue on the same day by informing the ticket seller. Queues are cleared just before the performance starts, so getting a ticket from the queue requires on-site presence.
Cancellation of a Performance
- When the Theatre Academy cancels a performance, we will refund the ticket money at the participant’s request. In case of a cancellation, we always contact the participants. Service fees wont be returned.
